Postcards from Mars

In 2003, NASA launched two all-terrain robots, “Spirit” and “Opportunity“, on the planet Mars — not knowing how long they’d last or what they’d find. But, years later, the rovers’ discoveries had exceeded all expectations, and they’d taken pictures to prove it. NASA scientist Jim Bell looks at how the Mars Rover photographs have changed the way we see the universe. [Produced for PRI‘s “Studio 360“.]
